Your Data Stays on Your Device

Taskspect is designed with privacy at its core. All your tasks, projects, areas, tags, and time blocks are stored locally on your Mac in a SQLite database. Your data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.

No Account Required

Taskspect does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. There is no registration, no email collection, and no user tracking.

No Analytics or Tracking

Taskspect does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, device information, or any form of telemetry.

No Third-Party Services

Taskspect does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Data Storage & Export

Your data is stored in a local SQLite database on your Mac. You can export all your data to CSV at any time via the app's File menu. If you delete the app, you can choose to keep or remove your local data.

Data Collection Summary

Taskspect does not collect any data. For the purposes of Apple's App Store privacy disclosures, we confirm that we do not collect any of the following data types: contact information, health & fitness data, financial information, location data, sensitive information, contacts, user content, browsing history, search history, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, or any other data. No data is collected for tracking, advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

Children's Privacy

Taskspect does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, transmitted, or stored externally, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. The app does not contain ads, in-app purchases targeting children, or links to third-party websites or services.

California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since Taskspect does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, there is no data to disclose, delete, or sell. We do not sell personal information to any third party.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Since Taskspect does not collect any personal data, changes to this policy are expected to be minimal.
